PURPOSE:

Connecting to Eduroam with a mobile apple device on iOS 14. This is a fix for issues with iOS 14.

Turn Off MAC Address Randomization on iOS 14

  1. Open your Settings menu and select Wi-Fi.
  1. Tap on the  net to eduroam to display more settings.
  1. Un-toggle the switch for Private Address.

 

Why Disable private address?

Using the private address hides your MAC address from the network, which is incompatible with the MAC-based device registration system used on Rose-Hulman’s network.
