PURPOSE:

To create a Matlab R2023a account
 

APPLIES TO:

Rose-Hulman Institute issued machines, Windows, Linux, MacOS, Off-campus
 

prerequisites:

Download and install Matlab R2023a

Matlab Account Creation

To create a MatLab account, please do the following:

1. Click the Start Button (for Windows).
2. Type Activate MATLAB R2023a
3. Select Activate MATLAB R2023a
4. A new window will open.  Select Yes.
5. Select Activate automatically using the Internet (recommended), then click Next.
6. Select I need to create an Account (requires and Activation Key), then click Next.
7. On the next screen, enter the information requested in all boxes.  The Activation Key is also found in  file:\\rose-hulman.edu\dfs\Software\Course Software\MATLAB File name is R2023a-ActivationKey.txt
8. When all the information has been entered, click Next.
9. Select Next on the following screen.  MathWorks will then direct you to confirm your email address.  When you receive the email from MathWorks. Select Next. 
10. The following screen Activation Is Complete, select Finish.
11. You may now launch MathWorks.
