PURPOSE:

To activate Solidworks 2024 after installation

Activate Solidworks 2024

If Solid Works is not already installed on your computer, it can be installed from Software Center.  Once Solid Works has been installed, it can be activated by doing the following:

  1. Log into the laptop with your Rose-Hulman username and password (not .\localmgr)
  2. Click the Windows Start Button in the corner of the screen
  3. Type SolidWorks 2024. Solid Works will open and prompt you for activation.
  4. Click the box that says I want to activate my SolidWorks product now. Then Click Next.
  5. Click the box that says Automatically over the Internet (recommended).  Then Click Next.
  6. Type in your Rose e-mail address then Click Next.
  7. Click Finish.
  8. A Solid Works License Agreement will open.  Read the license agreement, then Click Accept.
  9. A Simulation License Agreement will open. Read the license agreement, then Click Accept.
  10. Solid Works is now activated.
