Your laptop is covered by a four-year warranty and a four-year ADP agreement both provided by the manufacturer and subject to their terms and conditions. This warranty and ADP coverage should be honored by any of the manufacturer's authorized service providers.
The Lenovo P1 Gen 7 also includes a Lenovo provided extended battery warranty. Sealed-Battery-Warranty_CB_EMEA_en.pdf
Your warrantie and ADP agreement are not provided by Rose-Hulman and are between you and the manufacturer.
Rose-Hulman will only service your device while you are an active student. Once you are no longer considered an active student you will need to find a manufacturer authorized service provider for repairs.
If you are still an active student beyond your 4-year warranty and ADP coverage, Rose-Hulman will make a “best effort” to provide repairs to your device. This is subject to parts availability and will not include repairs for events that would have been covered under ADP.
Some vendors specify only one ADP claim in a 12-month period. If you have a claim on October 1st, you will not be allowed another ADP claim until October 1st of the next year. If your device is not eligible for an ADP repair, you will be responsible for the total cost of repair. You are encouraged to examine and understand the ADP terms for your specific device by visiting the manufacturer's website.
