The Yealink Teams telephone is like your Teams desktop client. When you change your Rose-Hulman network password you will also need to update the password on your phone. There are also instances where maintenance updates will require you to sign in.
When maintenance has occurred, you will see this displayed on the screen:
Select English by pressing the check mark in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Most of the time you will not have to perform this step, but we have included it in this document in case you encounter it.
Next, you will see the sign on screen:
Follow the instructions on the screen by opening a web browser then navigate to https://microsoft.com/devicelogin. Type in the displayed code then follow the instructions in the Intune portal which includes selecting your Rose-Hulman account name (username@rose-hulman.edu) and typing in your password. When asked if this is a “work\school or home account/” choose ‘work\school”. Once this is complete press the “Next” button (4 times) to advance through the informational screens.
An alternative sign on method would be selecting the “Sign in on this device” shown in blue letters at the bottom of the screen. Tap this line and you will be prompted to enter your username@rose-hulman.edu (a keyboard pop-up appears on the screen). Then select “work or school” as the account type. You are then prompted to enter your Rose-Hulman password. Once this is complete press the “Next” button (4 times) to advance through the informational screens.
Signing out: Yealink\Teams telephone
To sign the current user out of the Yealink Teams phone you press the account settings icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Next, press “settings” from the drop-down menu. From the “settings” menu scroll to the bottom using the touch screen. Select “sign out” then “ok” to complete.
To sign in as another user follow the instruction at the beginning of this document.
