Please read and verify that you are following the Installation Instructions PDF found inside the application’s folder.

Links to the installation instructions for EIT-supported productivity and academic software can be found in the DFS Software folder.  The DFS Software folder can be accessed by doing the following steps:

 

  1. Press the Windows key + E key on your keyboard to open File Explorer.
  2. Go to the address bar at the top of the File Explorer window and type in \\rose-hulman.edu\dfs, then press Enter.
  3. You may be prompted for Administrator Credentials, enter your username and password. You should be connected after a few seconds. 
  4. For Windows 10, click the home tab at the top left-hand side of the screen and click pin to quick access. For Windows 11, find the icon with three dots and click on it. Then click on pin to quick access


 

 

​​​​​​Please note that any software not listed in the DFS Software folder is not supported by EIT and we will not be able to provide you with installation assistance.  If you are following the instructions for supported software and something unexpected happens, you should submit a request for support from the EIT Service Desk through the online portal. When requesting support, be sure to describe in as much detail as possible the behavior you are experiencing. If you are receiving an error message, include the text of the error message verbatim, or use a screenshot, as well as any necessary steps to reproduce the error message.
