How do I remove the Caps Lock/Number Lock Indicator from my desktop screen?

If the Caps Lock or Number Lock Indicator constantly appears on your desktop screen, these steps should make it disappear:
 

1. Right click on your desktop screen and click Screen Resolution.
2. Click Advanced Settings.
3. Click the On Screen Display Tab.
4. Under Indicator Settings for NumLock and CapsLock, click Show the Indicator for a few seconds for both settings.
5. Click Apply and then click OK.
6. The Caps Lock or Number Lock indicator should disappear from your screen.

Note: These directions are for computers with Windows 7.  Windows 10 does not display the Caps Lock or Number Lock Indicator.
