Your laptop is covered by an Accidental Damage Plan. Accidental Damage is defined as physical damage to the laptop caused by or resulting from accidents during normal use. Covered perils include unintentional liquid spills in or on the unit, drops, falls, and collisions. This includes damaged or cracked display as well as other damaged parts due to a drop. Accidental Damage does NOT COVER theft, loss, normal wear, cosmetic damage, consumables such as the AC adapter or battery, and intentional acts of damage or exclusions as detailed in the vendor’s Accidental Damage Policy.

Our vender specifies only one accidental damage claim in a 12 month period.  If you have a spill on October 1st, you will not be allowed another accidental claim until October of next year.  If you have another spill or drop in that 12 month span, these damages would not be covered.

If you have accidentally damaged your laptop, please bring it to the Service Desk for evaluation.  Service Desk personnel will examine the laptop and provide you with paperwork to complete if repairs are necessary.
